In a recent announcement, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made several appointments within his administration. The President has appointed Freda Prempeh, who previously served as the Minister of State at the Presidency and represented Tano North in Parliament, as the new Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
Freda Prempeh takes over this position from Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, who tendered her resignation on July 22, 2023, which the President accepted on the same day.
After consulting with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and Roads and Highways, President Akufo- Addo made two other significant appointments. Mavis Nkansah Boadu, the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways and Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East, will now serve as the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. Meanwhile, Thomas Mbomba, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and representing Tatale/Sanguli in Parliament, will assume the Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.
