Anas Aremeyaw Anas, a renowned undercover journalist, has hinted at the release of an upcoming explosive documentary that has the potential to shake the foundation of Ghana before the 2024 elections. He emphasized that the focus of this documentary would primarily be on certain politicians in the country and assured that it would have a significant impact on the political scene. In an interview with DW Africa, Anas expressed his dedication to ensuring that all potential inquiries are addressed before the documentary’s release.

“The current project I’m working on might be my last before the elections. However, there will be profound repercussions once again. Several international documentaries are also set to be released. Still, speaking to you as a Ghanaian, this one will undoubtedly shake Ghana’s very foundation,” Anas stated during the interview.

Recently, Anas faced criticism after losing a defamation lawsuit against Kennedy Agyapong, a Member of Parliament for Assin Central. The Accra High Court presiding judge referred to Anas’ investigative methods as “investigative terrorism” while ruling in favor of Agyapong, who had referred to Anas as a thief and extortionist.

Furthermore, Anas’ “Galamsey Economy” documentary, which implicated Charles Adu Boahen, the former Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance and led to his dismissal, was also met with criticism. As with all his exposés, Anas was accused of trapping the deputy minister.

Hopefully, the forthcoming documentary will address all questions and leave no room for ambiguity.
