Akosua Serwah Fosuh has disclosed that she was caring for their newborn in Germany when Daddy Lumba left for Ghana to seek medical treatment. She said he later returned to Germany after receiving care in Ghana, before eventually choosing to relocate permanently.
Her lawyer, William Kusi, told the media that Daddy Lumba had initially informed Akosua Serwah that he preferred to return to Ghana because he “didn’t believe in the whites.” At the time, the couple had taken a €100,000 loan to build houses in Ghana, a responsibility that fell heavily on Akosua Serwah when he later decided to remain in Ghana.
“Akosua Serwah had to put her own life on hold and work tirelessly in Germany to repay that loan. It wasn’t a matter of choice — she had an obligation to clear the debt,” Kusi emphasized.
He added that it was unfortunate that Daddy Lumba’s health worsened while he was living in Ghana.
