Stonebwoy’s annual BHIM Festival will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon, Accra, for its 11th edition on Thursday, December 24, 2026.
The Christmas Eve concert moves from the Accra Sports Stadium, which hosted the festival’s 10th-anniversary celebration last year.
Explaining the decision in an interview, Stonebwoy described the relocation as part of the festival’s development. He said that after filling the Accra Sports Stadium twice, his team was looking towards the next stage of the event’s growth.
The musician also indicated that broader considerations influenced the choice of venue, suggesting that further details would be shared in due course.
Beyond those plans, Stonebwoy cited renovation work at the Accra Sports Stadium, saying its current condition was not ideal for hosting a concert of the festival’s scale.
The University of Ghana Sports Stadium is expected to provide space for the anticipated audience while supporting access control, security arrangements and event logistics. These considerations form part of preparations to accommodate the thousands of fans expected at the concert.
