Each year, Joy FM pays tribute to God’s ultimate act of love during the sacred celebration of Easter by organizing the “Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen” initiative, which replicates the divine expression of love.
This initiative aims to bring happiness to disadvantaged individuals in society. The annual outreach, the Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen, is held to commemorate God’s love through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus.
This year’s event aimed to reach out to inmates of the Weija Leprosarium, who joyfully welcomed the team and spent quality time with them, enjoying themselves. Besides singing and dancing to good music, the residents of the Leprosarium were treated to an abundance of delicious meals and drinks. Below are pictures from the event:
