NASPA explained that the GH¢60 deduction is not an initiative of the National Service Authority (NSA) but rather an internal association-led program.
According to the association, the initiative was designed to provide direct benefits to national service personnel through access to professional certifications, career mentorship, and practical skills training.
NASPA leadership also stated that information about the capacity-building program had been communicated through official association channels as early as February, ahead of the implementation.
