
Dancehall star Shatta Wale has been granted bail of GHS10 million after spending part of Wednesday at the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), where officials are investigating the tax status of a yellow Lamborghini linked to him.
In a statement, his management revealed that the artiste, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., voluntarily reported to EOCO alongside his lawyer, Cephas Biyuo, to assist with the ongoing inquiry.
The management team noted that they are cooperating fully with authorities to resolve the matter, adding that discussions with EOCO will continue on Thursday morning. They assured fans that updates would be provided as necessary.
Supporters, popularly known as the SM Family, have been urged to remain calm and avoid speculation. Management expressed confidence in the legal process and emphasized that all efforts are being made to bring the issue to a close.
Shatta Wale is currently assisting investigators as arrangements for his bail are finalized.
