The energetic record largely focuses on dismissing critics and celebrating confidence and female independence. However, one lyric compares black vehicles outside a nightclub to a presidential motorcade before ending with a profane insult directed at Trump.
Cardi B Continues Political Criticism
The lyric adds another chapter to the longstanding political tension between Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and the Trump administration.
