The historic concert took place on December 16, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
The large-scale production combined orchestral music with contemporary Afrobeats, creating a unique live experience that showcased the versatility and global appeal of Nigerian music.
The performance featured an orchestra of 85 instrumentalists led by a conductor, alongside a lead vocalist, a choir, and synchronized dancers performing a specially arranged musical production.

The concept for Trench Symphony was developed under the leadership of Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi, Chief Executive Officer of the Dapper Group.
The production fused the energetic rhythms of Afrobeats with the structure of a classical symphony while incorporating elements of Fuji music, resulting in a distinctive performance that celebrated multiple Nigerian musical traditions.
The innovative arrangement highlighted how orchestral compositions can be combined with contemporary African sounds to create a fresh concert experience.
Star-Studded Nigerian Lineup
The record-setting event featured performances by several well-known Nigerian artists from different genres.
Fuji legends King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika shared the stage with a number of Afrobeats and emerging music stars, including:
