The French Embassy in Ghana has partnered with Kobby Kyei Media to organize a one-day training seminar for young bloggers, content creators and online journalists in Accra.
Scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026, the program will take place at the French Ambassador’s Residence, bringing participants together with industry experts from Ghana and France, as well as representatives from UNESCO.
The training will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a networking cocktail from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Participants will receive practical guidance on digital storytelling, responsible journalism and audience engagement. Sessions will explore approaches to producing compelling online content, using digital tools effectively and reaching wider audiences.
The program will also address professional ethics, fact-checking and the role of creators in combating misinformation.
Kobby Kyei, founder of Kobby Kyei Media, said the initiative reflects his long-standing ambition to create opportunities for emerging media practitioners to learn, access mentorship and develop professional relationships.
The partnership aims to help young creators build sustainable digital careers while strengthening standards within Ghana’s evolving online media industry.
The networking session will offer participants an opportunity to connect with facilitators and fellow practitioners after the training.
