Ghanaian Afro-fusion singer Gyakie has announced the return of her headline concert, “Gyakie Live,” scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Ghud Park at the Accra Mall.
The event marks her return to staging her own headline show following “Party Live with Gyakie” in December 2022.
Known for songs including “Forever,” Gyakie is preparing a live-band performance aimed at reconnecting with fans and celebrating their support.
Time Away Focused on Artistic Growth
Speaking during promotional interviews, the singer explained that her break from organizing headline concerts allowed her to concentrate on developing her sound and recording music.
She identified work on her debut album, After Midnight, as a major focus during that period.
The upcoming concert will give audiences an opportunity to experience her music in a live setting, with familiar favorites and newer material expected to feature.
Commitment to Fans
Gyakie expressed excitement about returning to the stage for her own concert, stressing that her commitment to delivering a memorable performance would not depend on attendance numbers.
She said she would give her best even if only 20 people turned up, underscoring her appreciation for fans who continue to support her work.
Preparations for the December event are underway. Further announcements on ticket prices, performance times and supporting acts are expected from her management team.
