Kevin Hart’s former personal assistant, Miesha Shakes, wants Montia Sabbag to testify in her ongoing legal dispute with the comedian.
According to reports published on October 7, Shakes identified Sabbag as a potential witness to discuss Hart’s 2017 sex tape controversy and the subsequent investigation.
The dispute stems from Hart’s claim that Shakes breached a non-disclosure agreement by discussing his private life during an interview with a blogger. He alleges that her disclosures damaged his reputation.
Shakes challenges the agreement’s enforceability, arguing that Hart failed to meet certain contractual obligations. She also disputes his reputational-damage claim, maintaining that earlier controversies, including the 2017 incident, had already affected his public image.
Sabbag previously filed a $60 million lawsuit against Hart in 2019 over allegations that their sexual encounter had been recorded without her consent. Hart denied wrongdoing, and the lawsuit was subsequently dismissed.
Shakes also intends to testify and call Hart as a witness.
The case remains ongoing, with no determination reported on whether Sabbag will testify or what evidence she may provide.
