KiDi has confirmed that he is no longer signed to Lynx Entertainment, marking a new chapter in his music career.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session with blogger Code Micky, the Afrobeats star revealed that he has transitioned into an independent artist. He explained that his exit from the label occurred around the time he released “Gymnastic,” a collaboration with Olivetheboy and Kojo Black. Reflecting on the transition, KiDi noted that while he was still with the label during the “Lomo Lomo” period, “Gymnastic” ultimately marked his departure.
Since leaving the label, KiDi has reportedly begun releasing music independently through his own imprint, in partnership with Encore. His latest single, “Signature,” featuring Lasmid, was released on April 30, 2026.
The release adds to a series of songs he has put out in 2026, showcasing a range of themes and emotions—from personal recovery in “Babylon” to the energetic and collaborative style heard in “Gymnastic.”
