King Promise, Mugeez

Ghanaian musicians and entertainment personalities gathered in Tema on Saturday, October 17, 2026, to support R2Bees member Omar Sterling at the Adua service for his late father, Alhaji Ibrahim.

King Promise, Mugeez and Fad Lan were among the mourners who joined the rapper, known privately as Faisal Hakeem, and his family for the Islamic prayer service.

Other attendees included Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Efya, Darkovibes, Killbeatz and King Paluta. Broadcaster Abeiku Santana and Don Momoh also attended to offer their condolences.

Islamic clerics led prayers for the repose of Alhaji Ibrahim’s soul and asked for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.

Mugeez, Omar Sterling’s longtime musical partner in R2Bees, remained by his side during the gathering, helping to receive mourners and coordinate arrangements.

A cultural delegation from the Northern Region also joined the service. Their attendance, alongside Fad Lan and other entertainment figures, reflected the support extended to the family from different parts of the country.

The gathering brought colleagues, friends and supporters together in a shared expression of sympathy for Omar Sterling and his family.
