Mitch Brothers Nominated for 2026 Forty Under 40 Ghana Philanthropy Award

twin brothers Nana Mitch

Ghanaian digital creators Nana Mitch and Schardo Mitch, collectively known as the Mitch Brothers, have been nominated for the 2026 Forty Under 40 Awards Ghana.

The twin brothers secured a nomination in the Philanthropy and Charity category in recognition of their humanitarian activities and community-development work through Smile4mation.

Born Padmond Annor and Padmond Annor Jr., the entertainment duo has built a strong digital following while using its influence to support vulnerable individuals and underserved communities.

Transforming lives through Smile4mation

The brothers established Smile4mation in 2025 to support disadvantaged families, women, children and hardworking community members facing financial difficulties.

The initiative provides food, medical assistance, educational support, housing aid and other forms of direct relief.

A central part of the program involves identifying street vendors, artisans and other everyday workers and helping them improve their lives through makeovers, business branding, equipment and financial assistance.

The brothers say the dignity-focused approach is intended to celebrate beneficiaries’ determination while giving them practical resources to become more financially independent.

Corporate partnerships expand outreach

The Mitch Brothers have used their online visibility to attract corporate support for several humanitarian projects.

One notable intervention involved a partnership with Electroland Ghana Limited and Homeland to renovate and furnish the home of a struggling mother of four. The beneficiary also received seed capital to establish a business.

Smile4mation has undertaken other outreach programs with brands such as Indomie Ghana and organized community celebrations for residents of farming communities, including Aburi Domenase.

The initiative has also supported mothers and patients at health facilities while using online storytelling to draw attention to the experiences of people who are frequently overlooked.

Turning digital influence into social impact

The nomination highlights the growing influence of African content creators who are converting large social media audiences into measurable community support.

Schardo Mitch’s official TikTok account, @schardomitch1, has attracted more than 861,000 followers and over 136 million likes.

Instead of limiting their platforms to entertainment, Nana Mitch and Schardo Mitch have used their reach to promote charitable campaigns, attract sponsors and encourage young people to participate in community service.

Reacting to the nomination, the brothers described the recognition as motivation to continue their work.

“We’re truly honored to be nominated for an award at such a prestigious event. Moments like these remind us of how far we’ve come and inspire us to keep going,” they said.

Awards ceremony scheduled for September

Organized by Xodus Communications, the Forty Under 40 Ghana Awards recognizes young professionals, entrepreneurs and social-impact leaders who have achieved significant milestones before turning 40.

The 2026 event marks the awards scheme’s 10th anniversary.

Public voting for nominated candidates is scheduled to close on August 23, 2026, with votes accounting for 20% of the final assessment.

The awards gala is expected to take place on September 12, 2026, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.
