Ghanaian actress and Afro-soul singer Nana Frema Koranteng has explained her decision to limit the images and personal information she shares about her children online.

She believes children should not be subjected to unsolicited opinions, cyberbullying or online negativity before they are old enough to understand and process public attention.
Photographs and videos of celebrities’ children can attract comments from strangers about their appearance, behavior and family circumstances. Such content may also be copied, altered or redistributed beyond the parents’ control.
By reducing her children’s online exposure, the actress hopes to protect them from becoming subjects of public discussion through no decision of their own.
Safety and Personal Information
The singer also considers privacy an important part of keeping her family safe.
Regularly sharing identifiable details, school information, daily routines or locations could reveal more about a child’s movements than a parent intended.
