Young actress Nikita McBrown became one of the major talking points at the premiere of Nana Ama McBrown’s new movie, Ama, in Accra.
The highly anticipated film premiered before a large audience at the UPSA Auditorium on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Nana Ama McBrown produced and starred in the all-Twi coming-of-age movie as part of activities marking her 25th anniversary in Ghana’s entertainment industry. Set in the 1980s, the production explores themes connected to growing up, family and Ghanaian culture.
Although the movie features popular performers such as Dr. Likee, also known as Ras Nene, and Adade Promise, Nikita’s appearance generated considerable interest among fans and entertainment commentators.
