Yoruba Nollywood actress and producer Temitope “Tope” Osoba has died at the age of 40 following a battle with breast cancer.
The actress reportedly passed away on the evening of Tuesday, August 4, 2026. News of her death has plunged Nigeria’s film industry into mourning, with colleagues, fans and industry organizations paying tribute to her life and career.
