Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has responded to a lighthearted boxing challenge from fellow musician Teni, telling her to “pick a date” after a humorous call-out on Instagram.
Teni posted the video on Friday, October 2, 2026, joking about the money they could earn by facing each other in the ring. She proposed a ₦1.5 billion fight purse while discussing entertainers’ earnings and luxury cars.
The singer playfully asked whether the payment would be enough to buy a Bugatti and boasted that she would defeat Tiwa before singing her hit song My Darling to her afterwards.
In the accompanying caption, Teni raised the imaginary stakes to ₦3 billion, joking that she would apologies outside the ring after collecting the money. Tiwa joined the banter with her brief response in the comments section.
The exchange followed a celebrity boxing event in Lagos on October 1, where reality television star Phyna defeated actress Nkechi Blessing as part of the Chaos in the Ring series.
Despite the singers’ online exchange, reports have not identified a promoter, formal agreement or scheduled date for a Teni–Tiwa Savage bout. The billion-naira figures remain part of Teni’s playful proposal, rather than a confirmed financial offer.
