Ghanaian entertainment pundit Sally Frimpong Mann has strongly criticized award-winning rapper Sarkodie over his alleged reaction to Stonebwoy’s recent achievement in the United Kingdom.
Speaking about the growing tensions within Ghana’s music industry, the outspoken critic questioned Sarkodie’s judgment and accused him of failing to offer genuine support to his colleagues.
Her comments followed Stonebwoy’s performance at the BHIM Festival at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, an achievement she believes deserved recognition and praise from leading Ghanaian entertainers.
Sally Mann Supports Stonebwoy’s Claims
Mann defended Stonebwoy’s suggestion that the public friendship displayed by Sarkodie and Shatta Wale may not be entirely genuine.
She argued that the history between the two musicians appears inconsistent with the friendly relationship they sometimes present publicly. To support her position, Mann referred to Sarkodie’s 2018 diss track, Advice, which was widely understood to be directed at Shatta Wale.
According to the pundit, genuine friends should not publicly attack each other’s personalities, careers and lifestyles in such a manner.
She maintained that the previous conflict makes it reasonable for Stonebwoy to question whether the renewed camaraderie between Sarkodie and Shatta Wale represents an authentic friendship.
Sarkodie Criticized Over Social Media Reaction
Mann also took issue with a video reportedly shared by Sarkodie following Stonebwoy’s UK concert.
She claimed that instead of congratulating Stonebwoy on his international accomplishment, the rapper posted a video featuring a person with one leg. The timing and nature of the post generated speculation among some social media users, who interpreted it as a possible indirect response to Stonebwoy.
Sarkodie’s intention behind the video, however, was not established in the remarks attributed to Mann.
The entertainment critic nevertheless described the post as inappropriate and argued that Sarkodie should have used the occasion to celebrate Stonebwoy’s achievement.
“I’ve always said Sarkodie does not have sense,” Sally Mann stated while condemning the rapper’s alleged response.
Her statement represented her personal opinion and quickly attracted attention across entertainment programs and social media platforms.

Mann insisted that Stonebwoy deserved unreserved recognition for taking the BHIM Festival to the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
