Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Salma Mumin’s widely discussed threat to expose four unnamed pastors was part of a publicity campaign for her Christian film, Fighting Forces.
The video, shared on Instagram prompted speculation after the actress suggested she held damaging information about four young, influential pastors in Ghana.
Appearing tense and hesitant, Mumin declared that their “cups are full” and gave them until Wednesday, September 2, 2026, to publicly “say the truth.” She warned that failure to do so would lead her to reveal their identities and alleged secrets during a live broadcast.
The ultimatum attracted public and media attention, with viewers questioning whom she was referring to and what she intended to disclose.
However, the apparent confrontation was subsequently revealed to be a scripted promotional device conceived by the film’s director. The video did not constitute a substantiated exposé of misconduct by any identified pastor.
With only two weeks available to market and launch the production, the filmmakers used the dramatic scenario to generate immediate interest in the project.
Fighting Forces premiered at Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on September 18, 2026. The film follows the spiritual and personal struggles of a man of God while also exploring the experiences of an orphaned girl trying to overcome a troubled past.
The production features real-life religious figures, including Dr. Daniels, playing characters that closely reflect their roles outside the screen. Their involvement was intended to lend authenticity to the film’s portrayal of religious life.
The clarification places Mumin’s earlier remarks within the movie’s marketing campaign, bringing context to a video initially interpreted as a warning of an impending church scandal.
