Sarkodie delivered an energetic headline performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, October 24, as fans braved heavy rain for MoMoFest x Rapperholic ’26.
Held under the theme “More Than Music,” the concert brought together MTN Ghana’s MoMoFest and the rapper’s flagship Rapperholic series for a night of music and celebration.
The downpour did little to dampen the crowd’s enthusiasm as Sarkodie performed some of his biggest hits, taking fans through memorable moments from his career.
King Promise also featured on the night, alongside Kojoblak and Oseikanii, adding to a line-up that combined established names with emerging talent.
The event marked the second consecutive year that Sarkodie had staged his flagship concert in the Ashanti Region, following the 2025 edition, Rapperholic: The Homecoming.
Addressing the audience, the rapper thanked Kumasi fans for their continued support and described the expanded event as a response to the reception he received the previous year.
“Kumasi, this is your own. Kumasi showed Sarkodie love, and this year we have gone way bigger,” he said.
Beyond the performances, the concert concluded a week of activities focused on education, mentorship and community engagement.
These included the Kumasi Rising Dialogue, a free educational and mentorship forum at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, as well as outreach programs aimed at supporting local communities.
The combination of music and community activities reflected the event’s “More Than Music” theme, giving fans opportunities to engage with Sarkodie beyond the concert stage.
