Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has visited a young fan who was injured during the chaotic incident outside the venue of the cancelled ShattaFest UK concert in London.
The artist, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Jnr, visited the London home of the fan, identified as Abraham, in mid-August 2026 to express his sympathy and support as he continued his recovery.
During the visit, Shatta Wale presented Abraham with cash, flowers, a gift card and Hotwav mobile phones. The gesture was intended to support the young fan and lift his spirits following the traumatic experience.
Shatta Wale also assured Abraham and his family that his support would extend beyond the visit. He pledged to remain in contact with them and said he would consider their residence his home whenever he travelled to London.
The musician further promised to provide Abraham and his family with complimentary tickets to his future performances in the British capital.
In an emotional moment during the visit, Shatta Wale invited Abraham to perform one of his songs. The dancehall star said he was touched by the young fan’s enthusiasm for his music despite the geographical distance between Ghana and the United Kingdom.
The visit followed the abrupt cancellation of ShattaFest UK in early August after reports of a serious disturbance outside the event venue.
Shatta Movement Empire, the management team representing Shatta Wale, announced the cancellation after the incident reportedly left several people injured. There were also unconfirmed reports of fatalities, although official details about the circumstances and casualties had not been released at the time of the announcement.
Management said the decision to cancel the highly anticipated concert was taken to protect patrons, performers, event workers and members of the wider public.
The team emphasized that safety and well-being remained its highest priorities and appealed to the public to avoid spreading unverified claims while the relevant authorities investigated the incident.
Shatta Wale’s visit to Abraham was seen as a personal effort to connect with one of the people directly affected by the disturbance. Beyond the financial and material assistance, the musician’s promise of continued contact reflected an attempt to provide the family with longer-term emotional support.
