Rayan Mount has attributed Strongman’s absence from Rapperholic 2026 to ill health, dismissing suggestions that the rapper deliberately snubbed Sarkodie or the event.
According to Mount, Strongman had been hospitalized before the concert and was still recovering when he considered attending. He said a cannula had been removed from the rapper’s hand only hours earlier.
Health Concerns Prompted Withdrawal
Mount said he spoke with Strongman several times on Saturday night and urged him to stay away from the concert to focus on his recovery.
His account indicated that the rapper had been willing to attend despite his condition, but concerns about his health took priority.
The illness also disrupted Strongman’s work schedule. Mount disclosed that a music video shoot planned for Monday in Accra had to be postponed.
Response to Online Speculation
Addressing claims circulating on TikTok, Mount rejected attempts to portray Strongman’s absence as disrespect towards Sarkodie or the Rapperholic brand.
He maintained that the decision was driven by a genuine health concern rather than any disagreement connected to the concert.
Mount did not disclose the specific condition for which Strongman received treatment or provide a timeline for his return to scheduled activities.
