Ghanaian rapper Strongman has teamed up with Sarkodie for a new hip-hop single titled “League Of My Own,” abbreviated as “LOMO.”
Released on July 24, 2026, the collaboration marks a major reunion between the two lyricists, who had not appeared together on a new song in more than five years.
Produced by ATown TSB, “League Of My Own” is built around a hard-hitting hip-hop instrumental that allows both rappers to showcase their fast-paced Twi flows, wordplay and densely packed punchlines.
The song centres on confidence, independence and legacy, with Strongman and Sarkodie presenting themselves as established forces occupying their own spaces within Ghana’s rap industry.
The release has attracted attention because of the history between the two artists. Strongman was previously signed to Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music label before leaving to continue his career independently.
Despite his departure from the label, the rappers have maintained a musical connection established through earlier collaborations, including “Odasani,” “Trumpet,” “Monster Remix” and “Didi.”
