Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, popularly known as Ahuofe Patri, has argued that women possess the resilience and self-sufficiency needed to live independently, while men often struggle to live without women.
The actress made the comments during an interview, where she shared her views on female empowerment, independence and the growing influence of women in society.
According to Ahuofe Patri, women play an indispensable role in human existence and have demonstrated their ability to survive and succeed without relying entirely on men.
“Women run the world. Nothing would exist without women. Men can’t live alone, but we can survive on our own. I think we are still realizing it,” she stated.
She explained that many women have yet to recognize the full extent of their strength and capabilities, despite the progress they continue to make across different sectors.
When asked whether women could take control of global leadership within the next decade, Ahuofe Patri said the transition was already underway.
She predicted that the growing influence of women in leadership, business, politics and other professional fields could become more evident within the next 10 to 15 years.
The actress maintained that women have the ability to perform at the same level as men and, in some circumstances, surpass them when given the necessary opportunities and support.
She therefore encouraged women to embrace their abilities and step confidently into positions of personal, professional and social influence.
Ahuofe Patri expressed optimism that more women would eventually recognize their potential and become active participants in shaping decisions that affect society.
Her comments add to ongoing public discussions about gender roles, women’s independence and the need to expand female representation in leadership positions around the world.
