Bola Matel-Okoh, a Nigerian-American attorney, corporate leader and entrepreneur, is promoting a broader approach to women’s career development that extends beyond securing executive appointments.

Matel-Okoh is admitted to practice law in Nigeria and New York. She serves as a Non-Executive Director at Wema Bank and is the founder of BMO Advisory Services.

She argues that a senior title alone may not enable an executive to shape decisions without credibility, strategic relationships and access to influential professional networks.

She has served as a Non-Executive Director of Wema Bank PLC since 2015 and has participated in executive education programs at IMD, INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
In addition to founding BMO Advisory Services and the Women’s Lifestyle Hub, she hosts The Excellent Life Podcast, where she explores leadership, professional development and personal growth.
