Regret to announce the passing of their beloved MRS. GEORGINA OWUSU-ACHIAW (a.k.a. Afia Badu)

Family, friends, and loved ones have been invited to celebrate the life of Mrs. Georgina Owusu-Achiaw, A devoted mother, grandmother, and respected member of her community. Mrs. Owusu-Achiaw is remembered for her warmth, strength, and dedication to family. She passed away in 2025 at the age of 71.

The family has announced the following funeral rites:

• Candlelight Vigil: Friday, 20 February 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at her residence in Anwomaso.
• Lying in State: Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 4:00 am to 8:30 am at her residence.
• Memorial Service: Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, KNUST.
• Burial Service: Saturday, 21 February 2026, at 12:00 pm at Ejisu Onwe Cemetery.
• Funeral Gathering: Saturday, 21 February 2026, at 2:00 pm at Anwomaso JHS.
• Thanksgiving Service: Sunday, 22 February 2026, at 8:00 am at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
• Family Gathering: Sunday, 22 February 2026, at 2:00 pm at Anwomaso JHS.
