Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah scored and provided an assist as NAC Breda were held to a 2–2 draw by Vitesse in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
Sowah played a central role in NAC’s first-half comeback at the GelreDome in Arnhem, helping the visitors overturn an early deficit before a late equaliser denied them victory.
Naoufal Bannis opened the scoring for Vitesse in the 14th minute, but NAC responded ten minutes later when Sowah set up Charles-Andreas Brym to level the match.
The Ghanaian then put the visitors ahead in the 32nd minute, registering his first goal of the 2026–27 season and giving NAC a 2–1 advantage at the interval.
Sowah was replaced by Fredrik Oldrup Jensen in the 67th minute with his side still leading. NAC remained on course for three points until Bannis struck again in the 87th minute to secure a draw for the hosts.
The goal and assist marked a productive outing for the 26-year-old, who was making his third consecutive start since returning to action in September.
NAC will next host MVV Maastricht on Friday, October 9, as Sowah looks to build on his contribution against Vitesse.
