The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has declared Frank Danquah wanted over his alleged involvement in suspected narcotics-related offences.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Commission appealed to members of the public to provide credible information that could assist authorities in locating and arresting him.
Danquah, also identified as Danquah Frank, was born on September 11, 1978. This makes him 48 years old as of the date the notice was issued.
Although NACOC did not disclose the specific allegations against him, Member of Parliament Ekow Vincent Assafuah claimed that Danquah is an aviation security officer accused of helping a Guinea-Bissauan national transport 11 kilograms of cocaine through Kotoka International Airport.
According to the MP, the drugs were allegedly carried as hand luggage on a flight from Accra to Brussels. Danquah is reported to have gone into hiding following the arrest of the alleged trafficker. These claims have not yet been established in court.
NACOC urged anyone with information about Danquah’s whereabouts to contact the Commission or the nearest security agency. The public was also advised against attempting to apprehend him without the assistance of law enforcement officers.
Suspected narcotics offences in Ghana are investigated and prosecuted under the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019), which criminalizes the unlawful possession, transportation, importation, exportation and facilitation of illicit drugs.
The Commission emphasized that Danquah remains presumed innocent unless and until he is found guilty by a competent court.
