The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has annulled constituency executive elections in three constituencies in Ghana’s Ashanti Region following alleged breaches of party regulations and disregard for court directives.
The party’s National Steering Committee declared the elections in Bantama, Afigya Sekyere East, and Adansi Asokwa null and void, citing what it described as a “flagrant disregard” for established procedures governing the party’s internal electoral processes.

Three Constituency Elections Declared Invalid

The decision was communicated in a statement signed by Acting National Chairman Danquah Smith Buttey and General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong.
