NPP Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter Swears In New Executives

The Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the New Patriotic Party in the United States (NPP-USA) has inaugurated new executives to lead its activities and strengthen engagement with the Ghanaian diaspora in North Texas.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on October 25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, with chapter elder Dr. Stella Green administering the oaths of office.

The leadership transition signals a renewed emphasis on membership mobilization, community engagement and support for the party’s objectives ahead of Ghana’s 2028 elections.

Darkwah Outlines Leadership Priorities

New chapter chairman Kliphord Darkwah outlined plans to expand membership, deepen ties with the community and coordinate activities in support of the NPP’s national agenda.

His stated priorities place recruitment and participation at the center of the chapter’s work as the new leadership assumes office.

New Executive Team

The inaugurated leadership includes John Owusu as Vice Chairman, Martin Kwaning as Secretary and Paa Swanzy Essuman as Communications Director.

They will serve alongside other officers, deputies and organizers responsible for the chapter’s various functions.

The executive committee will work with a Council of Elders comprising Ohene Firempong, Dr. Kwadwo Tufuor and Dr. Stella Green.

Together, the executives and elders are expected to guide the chapter’s activities as it seeks to broaden its membership and strengthen its contribution to the party.
