Political discussions over possible alliances ahead of Kenya’s next general election have increasingly focused on relations between President William Ruto’s administration and senior figures within the Orange Democratic Movement, including Siaya Senator Dr. Oburu Oginga.
Oburu has publicly supported ODM’s structured engagement with the Kenya Kwanza administration, signaling that the opposition party could work within a broad political arrangement supporting Ruto’s re-election rather than presenting a rival presidential candidate.
