Daughter of the late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has called for reconciliation within the Kantanka family and pledged her full support for her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo.

In a statement issued on Thursday, October 8, the former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament said the family must move beyond differences, misunderstandings and grievances that may have emerged following their father’s death.

She said she had chosen the path of reconciliation based on love, mutual respect and the enduring bond of family.

“I have chosen the path of reconciliation, founded upon love, mutual respect and the enduring undisputed bonds of family,” she said.

Sarah Adwoa Safo said she has immense love and respect for Israel Kwadwo Safo and, in honour of their late father’s wishes, publicly recognised him as the Leader of the Kantanka Family and the Kristo Asfo Church.

She pledged to work with him to protect and advance their father’s vision and legacy.

“He has my full support, and I state unequivocally that I am prepared and willing to work together with him in the interest of the family and the Church, in furtherance of our father’s Vision and Legacy,” she said.

According to her, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo’s legacy extends beyond any individual and represents a shared inheritance and responsibility for all his children.

“Our father’s legacy transcends any one individual. It is a collective inheritance and a profound responsibility entrusted to us, as his children,” she said.

She urged the family to put their differences aside, preserve what their late father built and ensure that his ideals continue to inspire future generations.

She also appealed to members of the Kristo Asfo Church, the wider Kantanka family and others associated with their father’s work to recognise and respect the unity of the family.

“Let us embrace this new chapter with reconciliation, fraternity and a shared sense of purpose,” she said.

Sarah Adwoa Safo extended her goodwill and best wishes to Israel Kwadwo Safo and her other siblings as they begin what she described as a renewed journey of peace and forgiveness.

She expressed hope that the new chapter would bring healing, unity and renewed strength as the family works together to honour and advance their father’s legacy.
