Accra will host the second edition of the Creatives Connect Afrika forum and festival from November 30 to December 3, 2026, bringing together stakeholders from across the continent’s creative, tourism and entertainment industries.
The four-day event will take place at the Alisa Hotel North Ridge under the theme “Entertainment-Led Tourism: Transforming Pan-African Creative Wealth into Global Economic Influence.”
Convened by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in collaboration with Africa Tourism Partners and the Black Star Experience, the gathering will examine how Africa’s cultural industries can contribute to tourism and economic development.
Discussions will focus on opportunities within film, music and fashion to expand trade between African countries, attract international investment and generate employment.
Policymakers, creative entrepreneurs, tourism leaders and entertainment executives are expected to participate. The forum will provide a platform for these groups to explore partnerships and identify ways to turn creative talent into sustainable business opportunities.
The program includes industry dialogues, specialized masterclasses and business-to-business networking sessions. Live cultural showcases will also feature, placing African creative expression alongside discussions about its commercial potential.
With entertainment-led tourism at the center of this year’s agenda, the event aims to strengthen connections between cultural experiences, visitor interest and opportunities for local enterprises.
Registration information and passes are available through the Creatives Connect Afrika portal.
