Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been experiencing severe pain and difficulty walking, explaining that the health challenges contributed to her prolonged absence from social media.
Appearing in a wheelchair in an Instagram video shared on Saturday, October 10, 2026, to mark her 25th birthday, the actress said her symptoms had worsened over several months.
According to Daniels, what initially seemed like a minor problem became more serious after she hosted a Children’s Day carnival. She underwent repeated medical tests as the pain intensified.
“Sometimes I can walk, and sometimes I can’t move,” she said.
The mother of two described the emotional strain of losing some of her independence and needing assistance with everyday activities.
Despite the difficulties, Daniels said recent improvements had encouraged her to speak publicly. She expressed gratitude to God and said her faith remained a source of strength.
The actress also disclosed that she had moved closer to her children and loved ones. She initially rented the property but later became interested in purchasing it.
The reports of her update did not identify a medical diagnosis.
