Huawei has introduced a new range of consumer devices, including smartwatches, smartphones, tablets and wireless earbuds, with artificial intelligence and advanced health monitoring at the center of its latest product lineup.
The devices were presented during the company’s “Chase the Wild” global launch event in Munich. Huawei placed particular emphasis on wearable technology designed to support preventative healthcare, fitness tracking and everyday productivity.
The Huawei Watch D3 emerged as one of the event’s major health-focused products. The smartwatch incorporates a miniaturized inflatable airbag cuff into its strap, allowing users to monitor their blood pressure directly from the wrist.
Weighing 40 grams and measuring 11.3mm thick, the Watch D3 has received certification under Europe’s Medical Device Regulation. Huawei says the certification supports the device’s use in tracking cardiovascular information.
The company also unveiled the Watch GT 7 series, which targets outdoor enthusiasts and athletes. It includes wrist-movement detection and an integrated G-force monitor intended to assess physical performance and readiness.
Built with a titanium frame and nanotechnology ceramic bezel, the smartwatch offers specialized terrain-mapping features for activities such as cycling and skiing. It also promises several weeks of battery life, depending on usage.
Huawei’s Watch 6 series is also returning to international markets following a one-year absence. The standalone smartwatch provides AI-assisted workout analysis and broader health assessments.
Users can make calls, complete mobile payments and access GPS navigation without connecting the watch to a smartphone.
Huawei also expanded its tablet portfolio with the MatePad Pro 12-inch. The device measures 4.7mm thick, weighs 454 grams and features a flexible OLED display.
The tablet comes with built-in AI productivity features, including real-time handwriting recognition, text-to-speech conversion and enhanced digital-canvas tools for designers and other creative professionals.
In the smartphone category, Huawei introduced the nova 16s for the international market. Powered by the Kirin 8020 platform, the device runs HarmonyOS 6.1 and features a 200-megapixel primary camera.
It also includes a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, while AI-supported computational photography tools are designed to improve portrait lighting and depth-of-field effects.
The company completed the lineup with the FreeBuds Neo wireless earbuds. The earbuds support spatial audio and high-resolution lossless sound while offering active noise cancellation of up to 30 decibels.
The Watch GT 7 series is already available in the United Kingdom, with the standard model starting at £279.99 and the Pro version priced from £379.99.
Huawei will release the Watch D3 and Watch 6 series on September 23. The Watch D3 will cost £399.99 and include partnerships with healthcare provider Bupa, while the Watch 6 lineup will range from £399.99 to £599.99 for the Pro model.
The FreeBuds Neo will also go on sale on September 23 for £119.99. Huawei is expected to announce regional prices and release dates for the MatePad Pro 12-inch and nova 16s at subsequent local briefings.
