The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a special three-day exercise for prospective National Service Personnel in the Ashanti Region who are unable to complete their registration due to biodata discrepancies.
The exercise will take place at the NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Tuesday, September 1, to Thursday, September 3, 2026. Activities will begin at 10 a.m. each day.
According to the Authority, the intervention is intended to help affected applicants correct inconsistencies in their personal information and complete the registration process for their mandatory national service.
The NSA is collaborating with the National Identification Authority, the Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to establish a one-stop resolution center at the regional office.
Representatives of the participating institutions will assist applicants according to the nature of the discrepancies identified in their records.
Prospective personnel who require affidavits will be able to obtain assistance from Commissioners for Oaths at the venue. The officials will help them prepare and swear the necessary documents needed to support corrections to their biodata.
Representatives of the Ghana Publishing Company will also guide applicants whose corrections require official publication in the Gazette.
The National Identification Authority is expected to assist with issues involving the verification and matching of applicants’ details against information on their Ghana Cards.
All affected prospective personnel have been instructed to present the original copies of their Ghana Cards during the exercise.
Applicants who have already secured affidavits, Gazette publications or other supporting identification documents must also bring the original copies to facilitate the verification process.
After the information has been corrected and officially verified, applicants will be cleared to complete their online National Service registration immediately.
The Authority has urged eligible applicants in the Ashanti Region to take advantage of the three-day window and report to the Kumasi Regional Office with all the required documents to avoid further delays in their registration.
