Shatta Wale Performs Stonebwoy’s ‘Putuu’, Urges Fans to Embrace Unity

Shatta Wale Performs Stonebwoy Putuu

Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale expressed support for Stonebwoy by performing his hit song “Putuu” at the MoMoFest X ShattaFest concert on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The concert, held at the Youth Resource Centre in Adaklu in the Volta Region, saw Shatta Wale deliver a set lasting approximately four hours. Fans sang and danced along as he included his longtime rival’s song in the performance.

Addressing the audience, Shatta Wale said his support for Stonebwoy would not be influenced by others.

“You cannot stop me from loving Stonebwoy, you can’t stop me from supporting what Stonebwoy is doing,” he told the crowd.

He also said he had given his life to Christ and no longer wanted to engage in personal conflicts.

The musician encouraged young people and music fans to reject hatred and support one another, stressing that unity could contribute to both personal success and community development.

Reflecting on his connection to the Volta Region, Shatta Wale named Edem and Stonebwoy alongside himself as artistes whose achievements demonstrated the region’s musical talent.

He presented the performance as an example of how musicians could celebrate one another’s work, encouraging supporters to carry that same spirit beyond the concert venue.
