One person has died and about 15 others are in critical condition after a premix fuel drum fell, burst, and began spilling fuel.
The spilled fuel unfortunately flowed to the area where fishmongers were smoking fish in the community. When the fuel came into contact with the fire, it ignited.
Those in close proximity, including children, sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Effiankwanta Regional Hospital for treatment.
