Reddit user had layers upon layers of complications with her husband. When her husband cheated on her, she posted to the “r/TrueOffMyChest” subReddit, where people air out their struggles.

A member of their congregation recently confessed to her husband having an affair. Her situation became untenable.
One of the twins and the mistress of the pastor died after birth.
Her husband said he needed her to ‘step up’ to help care for the baby because ‘God had blessed them.
In the neo-natal intensive care unit, the surviving baby showed signs of life before his father confessed to his affair.
He asked her to convert her home office into a nursery for his mistress’s baby. Clearly blindsided, the wife told her husband she wasn’t sure she would be able to raise the baby. God wouldn’t give them more than they could handle, her husband said. According to her, God gave her more than she could handle.
Her husband slapped her, told her to ‘serve’ him, and said it was God’s will that she bear the baby.
After crying so hard, the woman threw up, and is now totally confused. Despite her struggle with infertility and saving for IVF treatments, she writes, “I don’t want a child anymore. I feel like I’d be robbing its mother’s grave.”
Despite praying to God, she states that she does not feel anyone is listening to her since the experience. Moreover, she no longer trusts him. It feels like I’ve seen my husband for the first time. “I want to leave him and the child.” She writes, “Neither he nor the child deserve this.”
