Adom FM celebrates Ghana Month

Adom FM, a popular radio station in Ghana, have celebrated Ghana Month with a magnificent cultural durbar. The event, which took place on the last day of March, featured various cultural performances from different regions of Ghana.

The durbar was held at the Efua Sutherland Park in Accra and attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life. The event began with a colorful parade, with representatives from various cultural groups in their traditional attire.

The main event was the cultural performances, which were nothing short of spectacular. There were traditional drumming and dancing displays from the Akan, Ga, Ewe tribes, and displays of Kente weaving and Adinkra printing. There were also performances of traditional music, poetry, and storytelling.

The climax of the event was a speech from the guest of honor, the Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, who spoke about preserving Ghanaian culture and lineage. She prayed Adom FM for their efforts in promoting Ghanaian culture through their programming and events.

The durbar was a fitting end to a month-long Ghanaian culture and heritage celebration. Adom FM organized various events throughout the month, including a food festival, a fashion show, and a concert featuring some of Ghana’s biggest music stars.

Many have praised Adom FM for promoting Ghanaian culture. The station’s management expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and promised to continue supporting and promoting Ghanaian culture in the coming years.
