President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sworn four new Ministers and a Deputy Minister into office.

The Ministers are the Minister of Food and Agriculture; Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance; Dr. Mohammed Amin Adams, Minister for Trade and Industry; Mr. Kobina Tahir, and Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs; Mr. Bryan Acheampong.

During the swearing-in ceremony of four new Ministers, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo advised the newly appointed officials to act with caution and always prioritize the interests of Ghanaians.

According to the President, their skills, experience, and talents enable them to ensure the country bounces back to the high levels of economic growth enjoyed before the COVID-19 outbreak and the Russian invasion. He emphasized the importance of integrity and urged them to remain above reproach in their public dealings, declaring their assets promptly. President Akufo-Addo reminded them they were appointed to serve the Ghanaian people honestly and competently, not for personal gain.

The President also stated that their conduct would determine the faith and fortunes of their party in the decades to come. The President urged the appointed officials to dedicate themselves to promoting the general well-being of the people since their appointments come at a critical time in Ghana’s history.
