Health workers at the Danfa Health Centre in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly have closed down their facility due to a lack of logistics. The health centre, which serves about 19 communities in the Madina enclave, has turned away patients who reported to the facility on July 18, 2024
The facility provides services including antenatal care, deliveries, and postnatal services.
Sources at the health facility, who requested anonymity, stated that senior officials from the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Health Directorate are currently in a critical meeting with the staff at the facility.
