Popular Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, has addressed the recent social media outburst by her estranged husband, rapper Medikal.
In a video post on Snapchat, Medikal revealed that he has been co-parenting with Fella Makafui. He claimed to have invested significantly in the actress, who has decided to leave their marriage despite his efforts to maintain their relationship for the sake of their daughter.
However, in a press release, Fella Makafui clarified that she and Medikal amicably ended their marriage several months ago. She expressed disappointment over Medikal’s decision to publicly air his grievances, stating that his actions have significantly tarnished her reputation. According to Fella, Medikal’s rant amounted to a “smear campaign” against her, prompting her to seek legal counsel.
The “Yolo” actress also expressed gratitude to her friends and family for their “unfailing support during this difficult time.”
