The Ministry of Health has announced a series of measures aimed at minimizing the impact of the ongoing strike by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA).
In a statement signed by Isaac Ofei Baah, Head of the Public Relations Unit, the Ministry assured the public that steps have been taken to maintain uninterrupted healthcare services across the country.
“We have put in place arrangements to address the service gaps caused by the strike,” the statement noted.
The Ministry encouraged the public to continue visiting healthcare facilities, emphasizing that many institutions still have nursing services in operation.
“We urge the general public to seek medical care at available health facilities, including those where nursing services are still functioning, to ensure their health needs are met,” the statement added.s
