John Ansah refuted allegations made by his competitor

HHHHAHAHHAHAH

The newly elected Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), has firmly denied allegations made by his opponent, Isaac Koomson, suggesting that the Ghana Football Association (GFA), under the leadership of Kurt Okraku, influenced the election outcome.

In the highly anticipated GHALCA elections held on Thursday, Ansah secured a decisive victory with 96 votes, while Koomson managed to garner only 35. The overwhelming win solidified Ansah’s mandate to lead the association.

However, following the election, Koomson raised concerns in an interview, alleging that the GFA had interfered in the electoral process to favor Ansah. He specifically accused GFA President Kurt Okraku of exerting undue influence behind the scenes, questioning the legitimacy of Ansah’s triumph.

In response, Ansah dismissed the claims as baseless and unjust, emphasizing that his victory was a result of his dedication and the trust placed in him by the clubs.

“It is unfair for Mr. Isaac Koomson to suggest that my hard-earned victory was influenced by GFA President Kurt,” Ansah stated during an interview with Gideon Okyere Anim on Original 91.9 FM’s Super Sports Show.

Ansah further reiterated his commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within GHALCA, emphasizing the importance of working together for the association’s progress. He extended an olive branch to Koomson, affirming his willingness to engage him in the association’s future endeavors.

“I have assured him that his support will be valuable as we work together to promote unity and progress within GHALCA,” Ansah added.
