
The Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority (NCA), Mr. Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Maafo, has been relieved of his position with immediate effect.
A letter signed by Alexander Yaw Arphul, Chief Director of the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, confirmed that Sector Minister Samuel Nartey George had terminated Mr. Osafo-Maafo’s appointment. Mr. Osafo-Maafo, son of former Senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo, has been directed to hand over his responsibilities to the Acting Director-General of the NCA.
In the letter, Minister Samuel Nartey George expressed appreciation for Mr. Osafo-Maafo’s service to the nation. As stipulated in his appointment terms, he will receive three months’ salary in lieu of notice
