According to reports, the police have arrested a landlord’s son named Emmanuel for the brutal murder of a tenant’s son and severe injury to others. The incident occurred on May 5, 2023, in Adankwame, Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Ashanti Region.
Witnesses say that after an argument with the child’s father, Obed Asamoah, Emmanuel, the police have arrested a landlord’s son named Emmanuel, who attacked Asamoah’s son, Samuel Amo, with a machete as Asamoah was carrying him into his room. It also injured Asamoah and his daughter in the attack.
The toddler was pronounced dead on arrival at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where Asamoah and his daughter are still receiving treatment. Janet Owusuwaa, the mother of the deceased, recounted the traumatic incident, and the police have initiated an investigation.
