NDC Suspends Chairman for Speaking to the Media

Bismark Aborbi-Ayitey, the chairman of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, has been suspended by the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Executive Committee for six months.

Mr. Aborbi-Ayitey was suspended because he violated Article 48 (8) of the Party’s Constitution, which was amended at the 9th Congress, by speaking to the media about internal party matters.

In a letter addressed to Mr. Aborbi-Ayitey, Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, the Greater Regional Secretary of NDC, explained that he has been suspended for six months because of his actions. He has been referred to the Regional Disciplinary Committee under Article 48(1).
